Your Impact:
As a full time Mentor Team Leader, you will play a key role:
- Provide services to people with disabilities with individual packages of support funded via the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Disability Services Commission or other funding sources.
- Provide high quality, person-centred support that empowers individuals to grow their capacity for independence.
- Deliver an excellent customer service experience.
- Support the Good Sammy purpose: ‘To create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities.
- Support Mentor Coordinator with rostering and administration.
- Oversee a team of Mentors to meet their objectives.
What you'll do:
- Assist participants to meet their individual goals related to services and supports provided within the Good Sammy Service Delivery Team.
- Work with people with disabilities, their families and other stakeholders to deliver services that optimise outcomes for people with a disability.
- Contribute to a strong customer service culture within the team, for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and guide a team of Mentors to provide exceptional service to participants.
- Support Mentor Coordinator with rostering of Mentor supports and administration duties.
What you'll bring:
- Experience and competency in supporting people with disabilities.
- Flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changing work situations and service provision demands.
- Able to deliver high quality support to people with disabilities
- An effective listener and persuader, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to relate and work positively with people of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Post-secondary qualification in relevant area (Desirable) or significant relevant experience.
- Driver’s license with own vehicle and comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
