There is an exciting opportunity for a Experienced Farmhand to join the family operated farming team for an immediate start. The role is based in the Toowoomba Region, with accommodation provided if necessary.

The role
A experienced farmhand is required for a broad acre and irrigated cropping enterprise, including a large grain storage facility on the Toowoomba region. You'll be working with a small team of valued workers and under the company's highly experienced principals.

Property has good access to services locally in and around Toowoomba area. An air-conditioned family home is available as a live-in accommodation should you require it (including payment of energy bills, up to an agreed upon amount).

About you

Successful applicants must :

• Have a current manual drivers license; and
• Be an Australian resident or citizen.

We are looking for an applicant with experience and skills in:

• Large modern farm equipment;
• Mechanical and welding knowledge;
• Planting and harvesting; and
• Loading and unloading of trucks and grain silos;
• A flexible and personable approach to work;
• Ability to follow instructions; and
• Working as part of a close team, and autonomously when required.
