Our client is a Top 5 Australian Bank, achieving strong growth across the commercial/emerging corporate segment is looking to hire another proven acquisition banker into the Sydney team. You will tasked with origination of commercial transactions ranging $5m up to $100m in debt size from an existing and active broker/referrer/direct client network to achieve client and loanbook growth. You will source & write up the transaction and once funded, the client will move into a portfolio banker to manage ongoing. A similar role is also available within another Bank though SME (sub $1.5m) paying up to $165k + Bonus.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Strong business banking experience within the Australian market with an active commercial broker/referral network that would see you originate & fund $50m-70m pa
• Demonstrate strong loan structuring and credit assessment, proven credit paper writing along with strong analysis of company financials across a diverse client industry sector
• Be a go getter, whose reputation for getting business done whilst ensuring high level of relationships held with internal & external stakeholders essential
• Be collaborative, take accountability and some who always strives to achieve outcomes
• Preference for tertiary qualification
