The Position

This position is a hands-on mechanical role working on the company’s range of mobile crushing, screening and recycling machinery. Tasks that’ll be encountered include but are not limited to, servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and overhaul of diesel-powered crushing and screening equipment. Systems encountered include electrical, mechanical and hydraulic. The role involves driving a company vehicle to site and interacting with customers and operators in relation to machinery performance etc. so a professional manner and sound communication skills will be needed. Some regional travel around the area at times.

The Candidate Requirements

Trade qualification Diesel Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or similar qualification.

Experience working on and servicing diesel powered mobile plant or equipment. Experience working on mobile crushers is perfect, but not essential.

Drivers license.

The ability to work well in both an autonomous situation and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a good attitude towards work in general.

Sound mechanical knowledge and knowhow.
