Gentle Dental Hervey Bay is a locally owned and operated family general dental practice. We provide a relaxed friendly environment for patients to receive treatment for all of their dental needs. We are locals of Hervey Bay, so we understand the region for all of its benefits and challenges and thus provide a service that locals can relate to.

We are in search of an additional Dental Receptionist to join and support our growing team and expanding clinic. The available position will be full time.

Qualifications & experience

Fantastic communication and rapport building skills

Business Support/Administration experience

Recent experience in Dental Industry is highly regarded

Tasks & responsibilities

Role Specific Tasks of Dental Receptionist include:

Meet and greet patients, customers, suppliers and practice staff

Manage incoming phone calls for the practice

Schedule patient appointments and perform follow-up confirmation communication

Communicate bookings and patient needs with Dental staff

Prepare documented treatment plans for patients

Process payments, health insurance rebates and other claims

Maintain patient records

Prepare correspondence as directed including patient follow up welfare contact

Provide the practice with administrative assistance, including the maintenance and re-stock of dental and office supplies

Practicing and adhering to immaculate OH&S as well as infection control practice

General smooth running of the clinic and ability to work autonomously
