Young Minds Academy Haberfield is a boutique 21-place early learning centre committed to providing high-quality care and education in a warm, inclusive environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Educator to join our close-knit team in a part-time capacity.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Educator, you will work closely with our Lead Educators and Centre Director to support the implementation of engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences for children. Your role will involve assisting with daily routines, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.

This position includes:

Supporting the delivery of play-based learning aligned with the EYLF

Contributing to a positive team culture and collaborative environment

Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children

Assisting in documentation and observations

Maintaining a clean and organised learning space

What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting

Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

A genuine passion for working with young children

A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS

Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
