Hastings Preschool is a community based, long day care service. We are looking for a motivated Child Care Educator Certificate III or Diploma qualified that is passionate about early childhood education.

About the Role and You:

This is a Part time role and we prefer a Cert III or Diploma qualified educator. As we are a smaller Centre you will be given opportunities to work across age groups and develop relationships with all of our Children. You will enjoy nature play and experimenting with materials; sharing interests with the children and value each child's learning path. Your assistance in the documentation of children's learning will be of high value to demonstrating learning outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

Strong interpersonal skills (approachable, go-getter, positive attitude)

Working with Children's Check.

Good documentation skills and always willing to learn.

Availability to work 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.

Certificate III or Diploma in Childcare

First Aid & CPR

Desirable Criteria

Relevant Child Protection Certification

Have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Experience in Early Learning and Programming
