The role in a nutshell:
- You will resolve complex technical issues, taking ownership of high-level technical problems across hardware, software, networking and cloud environments, ensuring effective resolution and root cause analysis
- You will lead technical escalations, serving as the final point of escalation within the service desk, mentoring and guiding level 1 and 2 technicians to uplift team capability.
- You will enhance IT infrastructure by designing, implementing and optimizing solutions that improve system performance, security and reliability across client environments.
- You will drive proactive service delivery, identifying trends and recurring problems, leading problem management efforts and contributing to the development of proactive strategies to prevent future issues
To be successful, you will need:
- Previous experience in a level 3 support role, ideally in an MSP environment
- You have advanced knowledge of IT systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, networking, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and you have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and how to apply them in client environments
- You have experience with PowerShell or similar scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve system management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are customer-focused, with a passion for providing excellent service.
- You must be based on the Gold Coast, with a valid work permit
