We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Swim Coach to join our team at the Kiama Leisure Centre.
In the role of Assistant Swim Coach you will:
- Assist in ensuring the efficient operation of the Leisure Centre’s swim squads training programs
- Oversee the Leisure Centre’s swim squads training programs as required
- Assist in the delivery a State and National Swim Squad Program.

- Hourly pay rate of $36.38 - this rate is inclusive of 25% casual loading
- 11.5 % superannuation.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
To be successful in this role you’ll have excellent communication skills along with the ability to work effectively unsupervised or as a team member. In addition to this you’ll need:
- A Current Foundation Coach (Teacher of Competitive Swimming) certification or equivalent
- A Current First Aid Certificate
- Experience in coaching swimming that caters for individual needs and abilities, including planning and evaluating sessions.

This is a child-related position. You will be required to provide Council with your valid and current Working with Children Check (WWCC) number as a condition of your employment. In addition, your employment will be subject to a pre- employment medical and national criminal record check to determine your suitability for employment.
