Shelly Swimming School, established in March 2007, has built a strong reputation as a well-organized and respected swim-coaching facility through years of dedication to excellence. Recently, we’ve expanded with a new location at Thornleigh, branded as ALL1N Shelly Swimming, to continue delivering high-quality swim instruction.

As we transition into the Shelly Swimming Club, we are looking for enthusiastic, committed, and qualified Swim Teachers and Coaches to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing club that fosters community and excellence, providing members of all levels—from beginners to competitors—a supportive environment to develop their skills.

The Role

As a Swim Teacher/Coach at Shelly Swimming School, your primary responsibility will be to implement and reinforce our structured water safety protocols and stroke development techniques for swimmers of all ages—from children to adults. You’ll play a key role in delivering a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where swimmers of every age and skill level can thrive.

We’re looking for candidates who are:

Motivated and enthusiastic, dedicated to instilling lifelong skills in themselves and their swimmers.

Passionate about program development, with the ability to adapt Shelly Swimming School’s procedures into a comprehensive Learn to Swim/Squad training program that prioritizes water safety, fosters competitive skills, and ensures continuous support for all swimmers.

Requirements

Basic swimming skills

Austswim or Swim Australia Certification

First Aid & CPR certification

Working with Children Check (WWC)

Commitment to continuous professional development

Experience with teaching swimmers of all ages

Strong communication skills

Flexible availability

Morning and school-hour shifts
