We’re seeking experienced APS5 Test Analysts to join a collaborative team in a large Federal Government Agency. In this role, you will independently manage your workload, provide policy-based advice, and contribute to the development and delivery of quality testing outcomes. This is a 12 month assignment and can be based in Richmond or Geelong.

Responsibilities include;

• Create and review UAT artefacts, test cases, and coverage matrices
• Execute manual testing, escalate defects, and track resolution
• Estimate and manage testing resources and timelines
• Support agile methodologies across testing phases
• Engage with stakeholders to resolve moderately complex issues

To be considered you will demonstrate;

• Proficiency with test case design, execution, and defect tracking
• Strong communication and analytical thinking
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Time management and task prioritisation
  

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright), BDD, and Gherkin syntax
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitLab
• Ability to build and maintain automated testing frameworks
