Part-Time Finance Analyst (Contractor)
$50/hour + GST | Work-from-home with flexible hours | Month-end focused role

Are you an experienced finance operator looking for consistent, high-quality work without the grind of a full-time job?

We are a growing CFO advisory business supporting fast-moving SMEs with forecasting, financial clarity, and cash flow strategy. We're looking for a contractor to help deliver our monthly reporting packs and financial analysis.

About the Role:

~80–90 hours/month, with most of the workload in the first 10–12 days of each month

Assist with month-end reconciliations, financial reporting, variance analysis

Work from home most of the time (after training period), using structured SOPs and task checklists

Collaborate with the principal CFO to deliver client-ready dashboards and insights

Start date: Week of 1 July (training/shadowing period provided)

Ideal Background:

3+ years in finance, reporting, or management accounting roles

Comfortable with Excel (lookups, formulas, formatting, charts)

Confident navigating Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks to pull reports and review data

Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver polished outputs

Bonus if you've supported an outsourced CFO or advisory firm

Work Environment:

$50/hour + GST

Initially office-based (Pascoe Vale South) for training, transitioning to mostly WFH
