WCOOSC is a not for profit out of school hours centre looking for reliable casual educators to join our staff. We are passionate about providing a high level of care in a friendly and approachable environment. We are looking for educators who enjoy interacting with children, implementing programmed activities and know the importance of active supervision.

Your Role Will Include:

Supervision of children aged 5 - 12 years.

Children's behaviour management.

Running activities based off children's interests.

Programming activities with guidance from Education Leader.

Serving/preparing afternoon tea.

Going on excursions such as bowling or to the beach during vacation care.

Shifts between two to four hours long, with the chance to work up to eight-hour days in vacation care.

Must Haves:

Working with Childrens Check.

First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain).

Relevant experience working with children previously.

Interest in craft, sports, games or any activities enjoyed by children.

Reliable and punctual team player.

Effective communication and a professional manner.

Be available a minimum of 3 afternoons per week.

Desirable Criteria:

Cert 3 in Children's Services or equivalent.

Experience working with school aged children.

Comfortable working with children with special needs.

Knowledge of the "My Time Our Place" framework.

Previous experience with Playground/Xplor.
