The Organisation:
Our client is a locally owned and operated, dual office firm, based in Toowoomba. Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, the team provides specialist services across Queensland & Northern NSW, including Accounting Solutions, Financial Planning & SMSF Advisory.

The Position:
Keen to support and develop the next generation of talent, this role is an ideal gateway to a career in accounting. It will include:

• Document preparation, data entry, & team correspondence
• Assisting with management of client records in line with privacy and compliance requirements (e.g. ATO guidelines)
• Supporting senior accountants with monthly and annual reporting
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
• Actively learning and developing your confidence in client liaising

Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field (completed or nearing completion)
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of Xero accounting software preferred
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to be in the Toowoomba office Monday-Friday
