About the Role:

As a Graduate Accountant you will with in a team to prepare relevant tax returns and financial statements, provide strategic business and tax advice, and help shape our business. We have a dedicated mentoring program to help graduate accountants thrive and a clear pathway from graduate to partner. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, problem-solving, and driving financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

✅Client Management & Advisory

- Assist Senior client managers with business performance assessment, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
- Deliver management reporting for clients
- Research various Australian tax matters and provide actionable insights

✅Technical & Compliance

- Prepare financial statements and Income tax returns
- Attend tax planning meetings with a Partner
- Complete personal income tax returns and research tax-related matters
- Draft income trust distribution minutes, company dividend minutes, and shareholder statements
- Call and liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients

✔️What We’re Looking For:

- any experience in public practice accounting will be seen as beneficial
- accounting, taxation, and compliance knowledge
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or other accounting software is a bonus
