Ideally you would have:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws.

Exposure to public practice accounting.

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

A can-do attitude, willing to be hands-on to achieve objectives.

The ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

A sound knowledge of a host of accounting, taxation and bookkeeping software.

Excellent grasp of Office 365 and all it’s applications; word and excel etc.

Develop & Maintain Professional Working Relationships With Service Regulatory Bodies;

Tax Practitioners Board

Australian Tax Office

Develop & Maintain Professional Working Relationships With Service/Software Providers.

Monitor & Maintain Compliance Standards For An Accounting Team.

Construct & Present Organisation Professional Development (PD) Programs .

Assist with Training of New Team Members.

Provide Supervision of Interns.
