Salary: Full Time - Inc competitive hourly wage ($40 - $60/hour depending on experience)

About the Role: Omega Solar + Batteries is seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our team, specializing in residential solar and battery installations. The ideal candidate will have good experience of residential electrical and if possible an understanding of solar power and energy storage solutions. We are prepared to train the right person in Solar and Battery installations if they fit the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair residential solar power systems and battery storage solutions.

Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting for solar systems.

Perform switchboard upgrades and replacements.

Replace isolators and inverters as needed.

Provide excellent customer service and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

Current QLD electrical licence.

CEC/SAA solar installation accreditation, preferred but not necessary as full training and Solar and Battery accreditation can be provided.

Current drivers license.

Current OHS induction card.

Working at heights certificate.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential electrical work.

Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.

Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
