About the role

Join the dynamic team at Xpress Industries as a full-time Solar Installer, based in Brisbane, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar power systems, playing a vital part in the company's mission to provide sustainable energy solutions to households and businesses across the region.

What you'll be doing

Safely installing, testing, and commissioning solar photovoltaic systems according to industry standards and regulations

Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on existing solar installations

Identifying and resolving any technical issues that arise during installation or maintenance

Liaising with clients to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in electrical or renewable energy systems, such as a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent

Minimum 2 years' experience in solar panel installation and maintenance

Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

Grid connected battery systems and stand-alone certifications
