About the role

Haydons Family Butcher' is seeking a Permanent part time Butcher Shop Sales Assistant to join our team in Glenside, SA 5065. As a Butcher Shop Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of our local butchery.

What you'll be doing

Assisting customers with selecting and purchasing high-quality meats and other butchery products

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the retail display area and storage areas

Preparing and packaging meat products according to customer specifications

Restocking shelves and ensuring product availability

Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers

Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

Assisting with other duties as required to support the smooth running of the butchery

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a retail or customer service environment, preferably in a butchery or similar food-based setting

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers

Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude
