Head of Contracts & Procurement Strategy (Future CCPO)
Odeion Pty Ltd | Perth, WA | Full-Time | $140K + $80K Bonus | 9-Month Exec Path
Lead smarter procurement. Build scalable systems. Challenge the status quo. Progress to executive.
The Opportunity
Odeion is a fast-growing construction company delivering premium residential renovations, extensions, and additions across Western Australia. We’re building a high-performance, modern construction business — one where operational excellence, financial discipline, and smart systems drive every project forward.
We’re now hiring a Head of Contracts & Procurement Strategy (Future CCPO) — a forward-thinking commercial leader who will take full ownership of our procurement systems, supplier strategy, and materials approach.
This is a role for someone who doesn’t settle for how things have always been done. We want a builder of better ways. A strategist who knows materials deeply, negotiates with intent, and constantly improves the supply engine of the business.
What You’ll Do
Lead procurement strategy across all material categories and trades
Evaluate and refine material selections to reduce cost, improve install speed, and support better project outcomes
Negotiate national and local supplier agreements with strong commercial outcomes
Design and implement smarter purchasing workflows, cost tracking, and contract models
Introduce systems and processes that support growth and reduce waste
Stay ahead of market trends and innovations in sourcing, contracting, and material tech
Build scalable procurement frameworks for long-term expansion
What You’ll Need
5–10+ years in procurement, contracts, or sourcing — ideally in construction, manufacturing, or building materials
Strong technical knowledge of construction materials: framing, fixings, cladding, insulation, cabinetry, and more
A proven track record in negotiating supplier agreements and securing cost advantages
Commercial fluency in pricing models, supplier performance, and contract terms
A systems thinker with an optimiser’s mindset — always finding ways to improve
Curiosity about modern tools, smarter methods, and scalable procurement strategy
Strategic instincts paired with hands-on delivery skills
Compensation Package – Built for Performance
Initial Package (First 9 Months):
Base Salary: $120,000 + Super
Performance Bonus (On-Target Earnings): $100,000 per annum
(Linked to supplier negotiations, systems delivery, cost savings, and contract wins)
Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): $220,000/year
Perth-based role with flexibility and autonomy
9-Month Progression to Executive Role:
Title: Chief Contracts & Procurement Officer (CCPO)
Base Salary: $200,000 + Super
Performance Bonus (On-Target Earnings): $100,000/year
Expanded responsibilities:
National procurement and contract oversight
Leadership of procurement and pricing team
Input into company-wide margin, supply, and commercial strategy
Key role in operational scalability and cost control
Who This Role Is Built For
You're not just a procurement expert — you're a builder of better systems.
You’re restless for improvement, focused on commercial outcomes, and excited by the chance to rethink how procurement is done in residential construction.
If you see opportunity in inefficiency, value in negotiation, and scalability in systems — this is your role.
Join a team that values sharp minds, strong execution, and forward-looking thinking.
