About the role

Lucia Tapas Garden is seeking a driven and experienced Restaurant and Events Manager to lead our vibrant hospitality team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations and managing small to large-scale events at our stunning coastal venue in Tugun, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including team scheduling, guest experience, inventory control, and financial reporting

Oversee the planning and execution of corporate functions, weddings, and other events hosted at our venue

Implement effective marketing strategies to drive bookings and increase revenue

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners

Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing hospitality team

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar restaurant or events management role

Demonstrated success in managing a vibrant, fast-paced hospitality operation

Excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in using hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
