Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services

Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and independently driven Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of key building services projects within a highly respected Perth-based engineering consultancy. The role will suit someone who thrives in a client-facing, multidisciplinary environment and has a strong grasp of electrical design, compliance, and project coordination.

Key Requirements
• Strong experience in electrical building services design and delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to manage design scopes, project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables
• Experience working across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education
• Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards it is highly regarded

Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of electrical building services designs across a range of commercial and institutional projects
• Oversee systems design including power, lighting, fire protection, communications, and security infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
• Coordinate effectively with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical quality independently
• Support site inspections, commissioning, and issue resolution during construction
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes
