Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Coordinator, Student Voice to join Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

The Coordinator, Student Voice contributes to the development and delivery of a reporting and evaluation framework to inform data driven decision making across all aspects of student support strategies and practices linked to the curriculum journey. The role has a key focus on the Student Voice Survey and surveys conducted through the Quality Indicators in the Learning and Teaching suite. The position works in close partnership with Student Success and Teaching Advancement Strategic Leads, Managers, Senior Educators and the QUT Data and Analytics team in Digital Business Solutions.

The Learning and Teaching Unit leads and coordinates learning and teaching across QUT, leveraging existing initiatives and enabling new ways of thinking and working that are learner-centric and future- focused. The Student Success and Teaching Advancement (SSTA) teams work in partnership with faculties and divisions to deliver a connected and impactful student experience. This is achieved through the provision of university wide learning, careers and retention support services and strategies, and building an engaged community of innovative academic practice and learner focused educational delivery using scholarly and data informed approaches. SSTA is a large section within LTU employing more than 120 academic, professional and sessional staff, and student partners..

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of relevant postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, together with extensive relevant experience in data analytics or statistics.
  2. Demonstrated ability to compile and manipulate complex data sets and apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to draw conclusions related to learner experience in a higher education context.
  3. Demonstrated capacity to design and deliver streamlined evaluation frameworks and reporting relevant to stakeholder needs.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to critically evaluate data to provide clear advice and visualisations on complex issues to various audiences.
  5. High level organisational skills, including a demonstrated capacity to establish work priorities, meet timelines and manage projects in a complex environment, operating both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  6. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage a small team and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
