Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dynamic and hands-on Payroll Officer to join our team to take the full responsibility of the payroll function and be an important part of an implementation of a new payroll software system. you will have the ability to autonomously take charge of the payroll function and make it your own. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and switched on individual

Responsibilities

Process end-to-end payroll weekly for up to 100 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness.

Maintain and update payroll data, including data collection and entry. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Be part of the implementation process of a new payroll software across the group entities (employment Hero),

Maintain payroll records, leave balances, assist with complex calculations including back-payments, terminations and leave entitlements

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to integrate payroll systems.

Work closely with operations to provide in time payroll information as needed

Deliver high-level customer service to internal stakeholders

Ad hoc payroll tasks and management-directed projects

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll administration.

Proven experience in payroll processing with a strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance.

Experience in implementing a new payroll software system (Employment Hero) is advantageous.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative environment. A collaborative, team-first mindset.

High levels of confidentiality and ethical standards

Experience in marine or construction environments is advantageous.
