We’re that local (Not-For-Profit) community gym in Byford, professionally managing the Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre (SJCRC)—a state-of-the-art facility featuring two multi-purpose stadium courts, indoor beach volleyball, rock climbing, a fully equipped 24/7 health club, group fitness classes and much more.

Right now, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Casual Gym Instructor who’s ready to help people transform their lives, one rep at a time.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll work as a part to the team to deliver the best experience to our gym members. Whether it’s conducting health assessments, or giving advice on the floor—you’ll be part of a team that champions health, fitness and wellbeing,

Here’s a snapshot of your day:

  • Supervise the gym floor and support members with encouragement and expert guidance
  • Complete fitness assessments and program design
  • Keep the gym clean, safe, and aligned with our quality standards
  • Help with gym tours, reception duties, and membership sales
  • Contribute to retention efforts by building strong member relationships

You’ll thrive in this role if you…

  • Hold a Certificate III & IV in Fitness (Cert III’s only are encouraged to apply)
  • Have a Senior First Aid certificate (or be prepared to obtain)
  • Are passionate, motivated and able to work independently
  • Are a confident communicator and team player
  • Can obtain a valid National Police Clearance
