Location: Kingsgrove, NSW
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + Super
Position: Maintenance Fitter (Day Shift)
Hours: Mon-Thurs - 7.30am-3.30am Fri - 6.30am-2.00pm
Overtime: Available

Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter ready for a new and exciting opportunity? You will be responsible for overseeing scheduled preventative maintenance and managing critical spare parts inventory. You’ll work closely with Production and Team Leaders, Quality Assurance, the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, Contractors, and the Site Planner to uphold safety, quality, and operational efficiency across all areas of the site.

• Full-time permanent role, Day Shift
• Immediate start available
• Overtime available

Reporting to the Technical Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and deliver preventative maintenance.
• Support and train production team members in equipment reliability.
• Conduct and oversee breakdown and preventative maintenance.
• Promote and uphold saftey culture across site.
• Maintain critical spare parts and ensure equipment meets Food Saftey and HACCP standards.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate logging of maintenance duties are logged in ERP system.
• Support contractor mangement and financial goverance processes.
• Contribute to team goals, planning and continous improvement.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry.
• Trade qualification (e.g Fitter, machinist or Cert III in Mechanical Engineering OR Cert IV in Engineering).
• Demonstrate a reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to overcome challenges and improve processes.
• Preferably familiarity with automated packaging lines and PM software.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Team player who is a clear and confident communicator.
