Location: Kingsgrove, NSW
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + Super
Position: Afternoon Shift Mon- Thurs, 11am-7pm
Overtime: Available

Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter ready for a new and exciting opportunity? You'll be first point of contact for machine breakdowns and play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. Alongside urgent repairs, managing preventative maintenance, coordinating contractors, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop preventative maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Problem solving, fault finding and display initiative in identifying solutions and resolving issues.
• Monitor equipment inventory and spares and place orders when needed.
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance and repairs.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities and efficiency.

What You’ll Need:

• Have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems within food manufacturing facilities that involve high-speed automation.
• Support a team-oriented work environment.
• Demonstrate a reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to overcome challenges and improve processes.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as reporting and budgeting.
