What we are looking for

BME Australia is looking for a motivated individual experienced in the resources sector to join our close-knit electronic detonator manufacturing team based residentially in Kalgoorlie WA. The role will be highly diversified, assisting in manufacturing stock control tasks. BME is looking for someone who wants to grow their career within the explosives sector and is willing and able to commit to building their skill set through on the job learning and nationally recognised vocational training.

Key responsibilities:

Control and reconciliation of explosive pre cursor and finished products.

Operate machines within production area according to work instructions and safe work procedures

Understand the safety requirements of working with hazardous materials and materials that may be susceptible to electrostatic discharge.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety and occupational legislation and regulations in the execution of work.

Operating within the company safety guidelines.

Carrying out QA/QC testing on finished products.

Compiling of production and quality reports.

Operating within the company safety guidelines.

Updating and auditing site registries to ensure WHS compliance

Assisting with procurement of materials and appointment of contractors

Learning and working in the D365 ERP ecosystem

Learning and working in the Gearbelt maintenance management system

About you:

Previous experience as a magazine keeper

Store, Handle & Transport Explosives Ticket (RIIBLA205D) - we can support to acquire

Team player who is keen to continually learn

An ability to stay self-motivated and work autonomously

A commitment to workplace health, safety and well being

Currently resides locally in the Kalgoorlie area or ability to relocate immediately on employment offer

Competent in the Microsoft office suite (Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel)
