Reporting to the Manager Work Health Safety & Wellbeing, the Workplace Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for the management of the Workplace Rehabilitation Unit and continuous improvement of the MLHD Workplace Rehabilitation and Injury Management framework to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance and to achieve MLHD strategic objectives.
This involves the development and implementation of strategy, policy, procedures and projects through effective leadership and management of the Workplace Rehabilitation Unit and consultation with relevant LHD Directorates, Senior Managers and staff.
This position is also responsible for strategic Workers Compensation insurance premium management strategies and monitoring to achieve financial outcomes for the MLHD.
