Salary range:
$95,641.64 to $100,623.03 per annum, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience
$99,467.30 - $104,647.95 from July 1, 2025.
Opportunity:
The City of Albany’s Operations Team has an opportunity in coordinating civil infrastructure maintenance operations.
Reporting to the Civil Maintenance Coordinator, this role is responsible for but not limited to:
Preparing and managing an annual master maintenance schedule for civil infrastructure.
Scoping, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance projects and programs.
Conducting site inspections, ensuring environmental compliance, and adhering to WHS standards.
Collaborating with stakeholders and providing technical support and guidance to field staff.
About You:
Proven experience and practical knowledge of civil infrastructure asset management, project planning, and maintenance scheduling.
The successful candidate will also require:
A relevant degree or qualification with substantial experience in civil infrastructure operations.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and civil construction techniques.
Experience using software such as MS Project or equivalent for planning and scheduling.
A proactive approach to WHS and environmental compliance.
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, including supervising teams and fostering collaboration.
A 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
Certificate IV in Project Management (desirable).
Road construction and/or maintenance experience (desirable).

About City of Albany
Albany and its surrounds was home to the Menang Noongar people, the area was called Kinjarling which means "the place of rain". Archaeological excavations have found evidence of sites dating back over 18,000 years.
The first recorded sighting of the King George sound was in 1627. The following year the first map the south coast was produced which shows a bay and islands that is possibly King George sound. It was another 164 years before Commander George Vancouver on board Discovery sailed into the sound and named it for King George III.
