Workfast are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for upcoming shutdown work commencing 2nd July 2025 for a valued client FIFO to Newman, WA.

What you need
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- DMIR S26 Training
- White Card
- BHP Inducted (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical supervision
- Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
What you will be doing
- Install Two Pump Spray Systems: Set up 45kW and 35kW pump spray systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure mounting.
- Upgrade Motor Control Centres (MCCs): Enhance existing MCCs to accommodate new pump systems, integrating necessary control systems.
- Electrical and Instrumentation Installation: Lay out and connect new power and control cabling; install field equipment such as flow meters and pressure transmitters.
- Conveyor System Modifications: Relocate approximately 16 devices (cables and instruments) on the conveyor system during the scheduled shutdown period.
- System Commissioning: Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of the newly installed systems post-shutdown to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all relevant safety standards and regulations throughout the installation and commissioning processes.
