About the role: An opportunity exists for an /AR officer to join a dynamic and highly successful FMCG company in Pyrmont. Reporting into the AR Manager, you will be managing customer accounts, reconciling accounts and completing full function Accounts Receivable duties as well as have a high focus on rebates & claims. It would be preferable if there was an intermediate level of excel experience. This is an initial contract, with potential for permanency.

The responsibilities:

• Manage medium to large sized account reconciliations.
• Resolving account inquiries as quickly as possible.
• Make payment allocations and collections of overdue accounts.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Rebates & Claims
• Assisting in credit projects when required.
• Help improve the level of DSO.
• Daily collection calling

The successful applicant:

• Have 2 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• Have come from an FMCG or retail background an advantage
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Have experience with claims & accruals
• Good organisational skills.
• Be professional and ethical.
• Desirably had previous experience in similar industry or retail.
