They are experiencing growth in QLD due to long term relationships within government and private clients as well as the ongoing infrastructure boom.

The role

Due to ongoing growth and a substantial project pipeline in QLD and across the country, they are looking for an experienced Highways Engineer to come in as a Design Manager and take the lead on several multiple roads and highways projects.

Working alongside the Highways Leader, this role will be key in the delivery of ongoing and future projects, as well as growing the roads team.

This role would suit someone who is frustrated with the lack of progression and wants to embrace a readymade dynamic new role within a top consultancy.

The responsibilities

Design delivery of highways and roads projects

Design oversight and management

Client liaison and site visits

Mentorship and guidance of junior staff

The requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering

RPEQ

Disaster recovery project experience is highly regarded

Experience on roads and highways projects

Local government roads or DTMR experience is essential

Experience with Australian codes and standards
