About the role
We are seeking a talented Workflow & Systems Project Manager to join our dynamic team at PAL Lighting. As a full-time role based in Caringbah, NSW, you will play a pivotal part in driving the strategic development and implementation of our innovative workflow and technology systems.
What you'll be doing
Workflow Optimization
Analyze, design, and implement improved workflows across engineering, production, sales, and project management functions.
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in current processes and develop solutions to streamline communication, approvals, and deliverables.
Standardize documentation and procedures for quoting, project handoffs, change orders, and custom orders.
Systems Implementation & Management
Lead optimization of ERP, CRM, and production tracking systems
Manage system integrations to ensure seamless data flow between departments (sales → engineering → production → fulfillment).
Provide user training and develop SOPs for system usage.
Cross-Functional Project Support
Collaborate with engineering and sales to map technical requirements into repeatable, scalable workflows for custom and standard product lines.
Support project managers and sales teams by developing system tools that track project progress, deadlines, and resource allocation.
Ensure accurate tracking of key performance metrics (e.g., lead time, order accuracy, production throughput).
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
Facilitate regular review sessions with leadership and stakeholders to align workflows with company growth, product complexity, and customer expectations.
Champion a culture of process excellence, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a technology-focused role
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
Familiarity with workflow optimisation, process improvement and enterprise systems implementation
Proficient in using project management tools and techniques to plan, execute and deliver successful projects
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business or Project Management
