Our services include Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, and more, with a presence throughout the South Burnett region including Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.

Position Overview
The Youth Worker will play a crucial role in the Youth Connector and Fusion programs, working collaboratively with young people to help them achieve positive outcomes. This position involves identifying and accepting referrals for youth needing support, facilitating access to specialised counselling services, and providing case management support for at-risk individuals.
As a Youth Worker, you will engage with young people, families, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support is provided, encompassing preventative measures, advocacy, and connection to appropriate resources.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual with a strong background in youth support services.
- Qualifications or experience that demonstrate the ability to effectively assist young people with complex issues.
- Established networks with organisations providing support services in the South Burnett region.
- Understanding of professional boundaries and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Current Queensland driver’s licence and relevant certifications (First Aid, CPR, etc.).
The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative spirit, cultural awareness, and excellent time management skills to the role, ensuring that all client interactions are respectful and inclusive of diverse backgrounds.
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, starting at Level 2 ($33.41 per hour) or Level 3 ($37.35 per hour) under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, along with salary packaging options.
