We are seeking an APS5 Network Administrator. The APS5 Network Administrator is tasked with providing technical support and resolving network issues.
This role includes assisting in the management and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure and configuring the Agency's ICT network. Additionally, the Administrator will be responsible for writing and updating technical documentation and supporting change management activities.
This role is a 18th month assignment, could be extended subject to business needs. Pay rate is $55.24 per hour plus super

Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily focused on resolving issues within cloud and LAN environments, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.
- Provides essential support to the network infrastructure established by APS6 engineers, contributing to the overall stability and performance of the network.
- Involves writing and updating technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and task cards to maintain clear and accurate records.
- Requires strong communication skills for effective interaction with end-users, addressing their concerns and providing timely solutions.
- Involves more travel compared to APS6 positions, offering opportunities to engage with various stakeholders and environments.
Experience and qualifications:
- Requires strong communication skills for effective end-user interaction.
- Ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of IT experience (e.g., senior service desk or system admin roles).
- Balances technical support with customer engagement
- Capable of working independently with sound judgment, discretion, and initiative.
- Familiar with government ICT environments and related policies and standards.
