This is a Recruitment Pool for permanent part time appointment(s) at 45.6 hours per fortnight.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Position Profile: We are currently seeking highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Psychologists with a passion for driving service development and leadership as part of our specialised team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists at Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG). This is a Pool for Senior Clinical Psychologists for the Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Services at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH), Bentley Health Service (BHS), and East Perth Next Step, as well as Older Adult Inpatient Mental Health Service at BHS. This is an opportunity for a person looking for their next challenge to stretch their skill set with complex presentations. You will be provided with all necessary upskilling, coaching and mentoring to assist you to step into the role. This Pool will also be utilised for similar positions and opportunities.

You will be a patient-centred clinician working within an interdisciplinary and professional team context, providing a specialised clinical psychology service. You will provide specialised consultation and supervision to Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars and Trainees. You will have strong communication and collaboration skills working within multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based care alongside medical, nursing, and allied health professionals. You will have a keen interest in teaching and training, quality improvement and service development. You will practise as a Clinical Psychologist and ensure practice is in accordance to the Psychology Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and EMHS values, policies and guidelines.

Area Profile: Bentley Health Service (BHS) is a specialist hospital located 11km from the Perth CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. BHS provides quality healthcare to the community, specialising in the delivery of mental health care, aged care services, obstetrics, and rehabilitation.

Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perth’s inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level emergency medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services. It is also a premier teaching hospital and contributes to innovation and excellence in medical research and patient care.
