The role

Sips and Sounds Speech Pathology is seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our growing team on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, swallowing, and/or communication disorders

Develop and implement individualised intervention to address the specific needs of each client

Provide therapy sessions to help clients achieve their communication goals

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as other allied health professionals and teachers, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care

Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with professional standards

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in speech therapy

What we're looking for

A tertiary degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification

Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

Preference for minimum 2 years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist in the paediatric population

Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices

Driver's license and access to a car

Current Police Check

Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

NDIS Workers Check (NDISWC)

Prepared to obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN)

Prepared to obtain Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
