Livingstone Christian College (LCC) opened its doors in January 2002, starting with a small class of just seven students. Since then, we have grown to a community of over 1250 students from Prep to Year 12 and over 240 staff members, plus an onside Early Learning Centre.

Our mission is “to educate for eternity and equip for life, through knowing Christ and making Him known, developing character and pursuing excellence.”

Our desire is that “every child can flouirsh”. We believe this is possible through a positive environment, quality education and a Christian worldview.

About the Role

The main role of a Casual/Relief Teacher is to effectively teach designated pupils and to undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties to provide high quality and continuity of education to students in the absence of their regular class teacher. Teachers play a vital role in the delivery of quality education to the students of the College.

You have personal views and beliefs that align with the Christian ethos of the College and you are able to demonstrate an active faith and church involvement.

Current Queensland Teacher Registration

Strong classroom and behaviour management techniques.

Ability to relate and build relationships with staff and students easily.
