We are a highly respected boutique debt recovery law firm based in the Brisbane CBD. Patane Lawyers is looking for a Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its very busy practice. We are not an ordinary law firm and don't believe in individual budgets.

You will be working alongside experienced Partners and Senior Lawyers on a broad range of commercial litigation and insolvency related matters, including the enforcement of securities, debt recovery, bankruptcy, liquidation and voidable transactions.

THE CANDIDATE

You:-

• will be required to work autonomously, however, we have current systems and precedents to assist and support the role. In addition, a team of forward thinking specialists will support you and, you will have direct access to a partner to assist you in managing your files.
• will be able to demonstrate strong drafting and procedural skills with a commitment to gaining litigation experience in both State and Federal jurisdictions together with the ability to provide practical, innovative and commercially-astute advice to clients.
• possess an ability and confidence to essentially run your own matters and work with Counsel and other members of the team to educate yourself on areas you are unfamiliar with.
• maintain good time management and organizational skills, as well as be personable and diligent.
• overall, enjoy working in a busy small team environment and work efficiently to meet deadlines.

SALARY

The suitable candidate will be offered a very competitive salary package including superannuation. Salary to be negotiated based upon your experience & knowledge + sign up bonus.
