About the Role

Reporting to a knowledgeable and approachable Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of medium volume payroll. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment and is looking to build on their existing payroll knowledge in a stable, rewarding setting.

Duties:

* Process full function end-to-end payroll
* Calculate and process leave entitlements including long service, maternity, and parental leave
* Manage terminations and redundancies
* Interpret complex EBAs and Awards
* Respond to payroll queries and manage the payroll inbox
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, providing clear and effective communication
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience in a medium to large, complex payroll environment
* Confident with full function payroll processing
* Strong understanding of Awards and EBAs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive, solution-focused approach
* Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
* Experience with Dayforce is desirable but not essential
