We are looking for Disability Support Workers (Male) to join our NDIS division (Frontier Lifestyle) on a casual basis, delivering high-quality care to clients (NDIS participants) in their homes to maximise their independence and quality of life.

Our participants are based in Sydney's northwest with lots of opportunities to build out a consistent, ongoing roster of work near where you live. Our team of disability support workers work varied shifts, and with the continuing increase of work coming in, there's plenty to offer you with Frontier Lifestyle.

As a disability support worker, you'll be responsible for participants and for empowering them to live independently. This may include the following:

Accompanying participants during daily activities

Assisting with mobility and transportation

Food preparation and shopping- Arranging or accompanying on social activities and outings

Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing, ironing, folding clothes

Assisting with personal care and hygiene

Performing personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, shaving, doing hair and makeup

Providing friendship and emotional support- Running errands, going on outings etc.

What you will need to join the team:

Minimum 2-years' experience post-qualification, however, attitude is everything and we are happy to mentor your development

Minimum Cert-3 in Individual Support - Disability

Preferably your own car & comprehensive insurance

Flu & COVID Vaccinations

Recent National Police Check or ability to obtain one

Willingness to commit to short participant services that can be 1hr-3hrs long, noting that all travel time is paid as a continuation of working hours and most of our workers have full days.

Ability to speak a 2nd language is desirable: Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Italian, Greek, Polish etc
