Client: Female, living with complex physical and mental health conditions

We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and experienced Female Support Worker to assist a female client living with C-PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), Anxiety, Depression, and multiple physical conditions including arthritis, scoliosis, and endometriosis.

Due to the complexity of the client's needs, the ideal candidate must be:

• Support Worker with extensive experience in the disability support sector
• Mental Health trained and qualified
• Confident, assertive, and able to communicate effectively with strangers in public when advocating for the client
• Emotionally intelligent, trauma-informed, and capable of supporting clients with PTSD and suicidal ideation

Service Requirements:

• Providing transportation and safe community access
• Encouraging and facilitating social engagement and outings
• Offering strong emotional and practical support in public spaces

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Current First Aid certificate
2. Current Police Check
3. NDIS Worker screening check
4. Working with Children Check
5. Australian Work Rights

Attributes for a successful candidate:

1. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within high-care, complex care, or mental health support settings.
2. Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Individual Support (or equivalent) is highly regarded.
3. Strong understanding of person-centred care, with a commitment to respecting individual rights and promoting independence.
4. Holds a valid driver’s licence and has access to a reliable vehicle.
