MC Heavy Haulage Operators – Local | Rockhampton-Based

Essjay Contracting Pty Ltd, a reputable and long-standing earthmoving and civil construction company based in Rockhampton, QLD, is currently seeking experienced MC Truck Drivers to join our growing team. Multiple positions are available for immediate commencement.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team providing heavy haulage and transport support to civil projects across Central Queensland and beyond. The role involves a mix of local and interstate driving, with flexible rosters and competitive remuneration.

We’re looking for professional operators who take pride in their work, prioritise safety, and are committed to delivering reliable, efficient service to our valued clients.

Key Requirements:

Current and unrestricted MC or HR Licence

Proven road train and heavy haulage experience

Strong understanding of load restraint procedures and regulations

Sound mechanical aptitude

Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Valid Basic Fatigue Management

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and undergo random Drug & Alcohol testing

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude

Excellent customer service and communication skills
