INTERSTATE MC TRUCK DRIVER

Enthusiastic person required for delivery truck driving & unloading.

ABOUT US:
Apex Freight Solutions are based in Maryborough and deliver mostly in a radius of 450kms of Maryborough servicing builders, landscapers, developers, retail outlets and end users in the South East Queensland region, HOWEVER, we currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced MC Truck Driver to do one trip per week from Maryborough Qld to Sydney, and return.

THE ROLE:

Role Base: Starting from Maryborough, Queensland

Role Type:

Interstate return to Sydney - deliveries mostly depot to depot, although Moffett operation may be necessary.

3 days work per week, usually from Tues-Thurs or Wed-Fri.

You will be required to:

Complete all necessary associated documentation

Take good care of vehicles / plant under your care

Ensure compliance with all health and safety laws, fatigue management, heavy vehicle operating guide lines, loading requirements, axle weights, and adhering to vehicle specific permits.

Operate a tablet device and any other systems as required & provided.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for the role you must have the following experience:

Must have a current MC heavy vehicle licence.

Must have a current HIGH RISK Forklift ticket

Moffett Mounty experience is preferred - Willing to train if necessary

Must have current BFM certificate.

Must be physically and mentally fit for the position.

You will:

Have the ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution

Work well within a small team environment

Be prepared to work in the dispatch yard occasionally if necessary - outdoor work is required.

Be prepared to work varying hours on occasion.

Be will to undergo medical assessment and drug testing prior to commencement.
