About the role

K2Q Contracting is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team, we have projects running in Queensland and the Northern Territory. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As an MC Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region.

What you'll be doing

Operate MC class heavy vehicles to transport a variety of goods and materials

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs

Adhere to all road rules, safety procedures and company policies to ensure the safe operation of vehicles

Plan and navigate routes, taking into account factors such as traffic, road conditions and delivery schedules

Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and promptly addressing any issues that may arise

Maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks and delivery paperwork

What we're looking for

Valid MC class driver's license with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles

Demonstrated knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate challenging situations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues

Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment
