Our Dubbo Day Program allows clients to address issues related to drug and alcohol dependencies, without having to live-in or stay overnight. The program includes Group Therapy, education and information, and counselling and support.

We are looking for a full-time AOD Group Facilitator / Case Manager to join our team based in Dubbo, providing assessment of dependency and delivering individual counselling, case management, and group facilitation. This position will be based in our new Dubbo office, located in Church Street.

You’ll join an experienced team who are energetic, passionate and collaborative. We welcome new graduates – this role is supported by an Assistant Manager who is engaged, and values-driven, with an open and approachable style.

The salary for this role is $85,120 - $91,598 per annum, (depending on skills, knowledge and experience) plus superannuation and salary packaging up to $15,900 per year.

Your Opportunity

As an AOD Counsellor Case Manager with Lives Lived Well you will support a diverse range of clients – providing assessment, counselling, case management and support services. Along with a great attitude and passion for your work, you will also have the following skills and attributes:

  • Qualifications in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Services, Mental Health or similar (minimum Diploma level)
  • Ability to co-facilitate intensive group therapy day rehabilitation programs and work with clients to develop, and implement individual treatment goals
  • Excellent relationship and rapport building – you will be managing a caseload of clients with varying levels of complexity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; self-managing and able to prioritise your own workload
  • A calm demeanour with an open and non-judgemental style and the capacity to manage challenging behaviours
  • A proactive team player – you’ll be part of a hard-working, collaborative multidisciplinary group
  • A sound understanding of the professional, ethical, and legislative frameworks, including understanding and setting boundaries

You will be required to hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence and be willing to undergo a National Police Check.
