About the role

As a Machine Operator at Ace Earthworks NSW, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry, operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment to support the company's earthworks projects. This full-time position is based in Mittagong, NSW 2575, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of the organisation while developing your skills in this dynamic and rewarding field.

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operating a variety of construction machinery, such as excavators, Possie tracks, and trucks, to carry out earthworks and site preparation tasks

Performing pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Following project plans and specifications to complete tasks to the required standard and within agreed timelines

Collaborating with the wider construction team to coordinate operations and ensure the efficient progress of projects

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and compliant worksite

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a machine operator in the construction or earthworks industry, with a strong understanding of the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery

Relevant qualifications, such as a VOC Plant Operations

A valid driver's licence (HR truck licence preferred)

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

A commitment to safety and a track record of adhering to health and safety protocols
