With a state-of-the-art service center in Girraween and a spacious dealership at Smeaton Grange, we pride ourselves on providing the best service to our customers both during their purchase, and post purchase of their RV.
Due to growth within the business, we are looking at finding our next Workshop Controller to support workshop operations and drive the flow of work for the workshop with a strong focus on quality, customer service and efficiency.
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:
Establish work capacity and outputs for service team in line with KPI's
Analyse work volumes for service, insurance and warranty
Drive daily team meetings with workshop supervisor and team members
Keep abreast of department procedures and implement change as required
Work with key stakeholders and ensure processes support other departments and business objectives
Implement and drive quality control checks at required stages
Review quality control findings and provide feedback to manufacturer liaison for continuous improvement
Assess inconsistencies between quality control check findings and Pre-Delivery Inspection findings
Ensure all relevant paperwork and information is provided to service team in a timely fashion
Monitor and consult workshop on status of works to be completed
Provide metrics around scheduling including cut-off periods, daily capacities and re-scheduling guidance
Ensure scheduler is supported through procedures relating to accuracy of inbound information from other departments
Drive customer satisfaction by accommodating preferred scheduling dates so far as possible
Skills, requirements and previous experience:
Strong organisation and time management skills
Previous experience in the Recreational Vehicle or Motor Vehicle industry (service centers)
Understanding of quality procedures and timely reporting of quality metrics
Ability to self-manage
Ability to work in a small team
Strong customer service focus
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
High level of computer literacy including MS Office
