We are seeking an experienced and confident Facility Manager with Nursing qualifications, who will report to the Directors and have the ability to lead and mentor a strong and resourceful team of clinical and non-clinical staff.

Working with this private family owned provider and reporting directly to the 2 Directors, you will be extremely well support on site by way of a Clinical Services Manager, 2 Clinical Co-ordinators, a Quality Co-ordinator and Clinical Governance Manager, Group Funding Manager, AN-ACC Co-ordinator on site and a committed care and administration team. The FM will have responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the day to day management of the home, whilst ensuring all staff are following organisational guidelines and procedures and providing excellent quality care to the residents.

The previous long standing FM has decided to retire and we are therefore looking for someone who will have the ability to maintain the stability within the home and reputation of the home within the local community.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Current AHPRA Registration as a Div 1 Nurse

Extensive experience in a Facility/General Management role in Aged Care

In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation, including incident reporting, mandatory reporting, and compliance requirements.

Ability to ensure continuous quality improvement and accreditation readiness

Demonstrated capability in operational management of a medium to large aged care residence, including budgeting, resource allocation, and service development.

Strong staff engagement and peopel management skills with the ability to continue and maintain relationships with all external stakeholders.

Experience with computer based care management systems.

Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor, train and lead a dedicated and committed team.
